A friendly welcome, a player / collector of sensible priced, good quality Hagstroms
and a few like-minded contributors giving advice, pictures and stories.

Enjoy your visit!

PS: It's not a sales store... at the moment
Neither is it quite like a squirrel storing it's nuts (excuse the analogy)
They're all played regularly, exercised regularly, dusted regularly, polished regularly,
and shared with my son a bit too regularly... he has his own Fenders, so why my Hags?
Anyone who plays them will know, anyone who used to play them will remember!
If any of that changes - you'll be the first to know.

Viking, Scandi, H33, BJ12, BJ12, Jimmy Oval, J45, Isabella Isabella and J45 - Poles apart and perfect. Hag III Hag12... or Hag 12..3 Swedes, Viking, Scandi - The core players for me! Old Pros - Coronado VI and Corvette Superswede and Swede
Hover your mouse over a picture to see some text, click - if you dare - to reveal all!
Scandi - So good they named it Once (but it wasn't allowed into New York)
Maybe a Jimmy "S/F" Hole, A Viking II, and HIIN,  a nice bass.... just to round things off...
Added to the collection in 2003:

REET PETITE (La Rita Classical)

    and now, for your delectation

                          1958/9 P46 Mahogany                                1962 Deluxe 'A'           and...          Hey, it's Alvy!

The addiction is quite severe... beware the elusive 'must have' model... by 2007 things had started to take over,
so much so that the UK's "Guitar and Bass magazine" decided it was time for a few pages in their journal.
Here you see Lars Mullen the writer in this shot... my way of turning the tables slightly!

There's nothing like a REAL original Swedish made Hagstrom (and there are loads around), but if it 'floats your boat', or you can't find an original then who are we to say?

Plenty has been said already and
will be said forever forward probably.
Only you know what's right for you!
