(June 2006) John Miners, North

...then it joined the
Family here at Hagström UK
Well I happened to see this same
example on eBay in January 2007... just in time... auction about to end...
jumped in there, and yes, John made a very good investment back in 1971 !
We'll keep you posted when it
arrives!

Well here's a favourite from the Hagstrom
Bass Camp - Coronado IV:
 |
Hello, I posted a question concerning my Hagstrom Coronado
IV Bass guitar a few days ago and Manfred told me I should send some
pictures to you... |
 |
... Well here are a few, hope you like them and maybe can
use em? If you want more, let me know!
Greetings, Peter Kroes
|
A firm favourite with the Bass
players amongst us, these are great players, and such an unmistakable
looking bass |
Well I'm glad you found what you
needed on the
FORUM,
and of course thanks to Manfred who: a:
Answered your question
b: Prompted these pictures! |

What
a super colouring too, but like me with the Concord Deluxe, remember this
should be wound the other way on the machines, with "E" outside the string
tree retainer. |
Just look at that engineering -

Thanks Peter (-
and Manfred!)

Hiya! I love your site - lots of valuable info, great pics
and interesting stories.
One of the very first "real" basses I ever saw in person (at a friend's
house - it was his older brother's) was a PB-24-G back in 1966. I was 11
(you can do the math). well, I finally fulfilled my original "bass lust" (Click
Here)
Fast forward some weeks - this next one shows up on ebay. A Coronado VI
with Bi-Sonics!!! It does have a headstock repair (it wasn't a clean
break) that was done a long time ago and looks like hell, but it is
structurally sound. Otherwise all original and working perfectly. No neck
issues with action as low as could be, every note sounding true. I haven't
seen one of these in a long time and was very surprised that I wasn't
outbid. The only thing I did after getting it was I rotated the bridge
pickup 180 degrees for a bit more output - it now has a more noticeable
edge when the pickups are used together. It sounds absolutely great!!!! I
am gigging it regularly and really enjoy playing it.
Keep up the good work! These are wonderful instruments!!!
Best Regards, Will, New York City

A story isn't absolutely necessary, but adds a little bit of what we like to add
to this site
- Appreciation and the appreciators!
So bung a pic of you too along with it.... Hell, past and present...
stage photo's...you, the dog and the Hag... It's up to you!
