The H22 is a little different - it is a great

blues unit, a little shallower in the body than

a standard folk steel strung guitar.

I've known a few well known players that

enjoy this model from time to time

some well known amongst the Hagstrom

circle of old - such as Kwinn who started off

the Hagstrom USA site back at the turn of

the century

(that sounds a long time ago eh?)

Here we see Guy Davis more widely known for his playing in recent years - also sporting an old H22.

Another H22 - This time from Denmark...
Hello! Thanks for the u.k. hagstrom sites! I gladly send You pictures of my western guitar - a H-22 "according" to Merson catalogue 1966.My farther bought it on a market in the 70'ties for 200 dk. I'm a jazz-drummer but once in a while I play it by the fire. The fabrication-number is 91670. Ole Salfelt, Odense - Denmark

Lovely Grain, and a great player... perfect for sitting by the fire... but not too close!

There's nothing like a REAL original Swedish made Hagstrom (and there are loads around), but if it 'floats your boat', or you can't find an original then who are we to say?

Plenty has been said already and
will be said forever forward probably.
Only you know what's right for you!
