Neil Jackson has a fabulous collection, which happens to include a couple of Hagstroms too, here's a shot showing a great PB-24-BG Glitter Bass...

Just as a matter of interest I bought a Hagstrom blue glitter bass guitar from an old chap in the area.

He told me that their band played with the 'spotniks' at the Music Hall Shrewsbury in the 60's and he bought the bass off their bass guitarist of the Spotniks at the time isn't that a lovely story.

I attach a picture of the actual guitar.

I have a Guild X500 which reputedly belonged to Carl Denver (Wimoway) ..and a Rickenbacker that once belonged to the Moody Blues (picture attached) along with about 35 others!

Nuts or what! and many an interesting story to tell.....

How about this gorgeous 1979 Jimmy Oval too...

I know this page isn't really the place for this pic, but I could not resist showing it!
It just proves the surprises and treasures you can find, when people take the time to share

So, let's see and hear some more please Neil, and of course, thanks for the story so far!

There's nothing like a REAL original Swedish made Hagstrom (and there are loads around), but if it 'floats your boat', or you can't find an original then who are we to say?

Plenty has been said already and
will be said forever forward probably.
Only you know what's right for you!
