Comments: STOLEN HAGSTROMS

The Stockholm based band “Demons” had their van broken into outside the Gearhead Records offices in San Fransisco on Wed. March 3rd.

Among some of the stolen items were two Hagstroms. As any Hag owner knows, these are very special guitars that become part of you. It is my understanding that these instruments were with the band members for many years. The anger, as well as grief of the band and their friends cannot be expressed. Info is as follows:

Hagström Partner SG-model, 1979. Red with the color scraped off the back and half the Hagström logo gone from the head. Guitar case black, covered with stickers and taped together with duct tape and
blue strap.

Hagström Swede, Les Paul model, 1974. Mahogany brown with the neck broken by the head. Crack visible. Finish scraped off the back. 1 Hagström pickup, 1 Gibson pickup. Worn brown guitar case with Gearhead and band stickers.

I know this is probably a stretch to post here, but anything helps. Please contact Gearhead with any information.

STOLEN - 4TH OCTOBER - 2001
CHERRY RED SWEDE BASS
1976 SERIAL #53934283        STILL MISSING NOV 2004

Subject: Stolen 1976 Hagström Swede bass.

My name is Anders Enerlöv and I'm living in Stockholm, Sweden. On October 4th 2001, I got my 1976, Cherry red Hagström Swede bass stolen from my work in  central Stockholm. Serial no. 53934283. Since the market for these kinds of  instruments is very limited, it is very possible that it has left Sweden.

Any help, resulting in the return to it's rightful owner will be extremely  appreciated. I miss it a lot. Please feel free to forward this message to friends and colleagues with an interest in music and/or guitars.

Thank you very much.

There's nothing like a REAL original Swedish made Hagstrom (and there are loads around), but if it 'floats your boat', or you can't find an original then who are we to say?

Plenty has been said already and
will be said forever forward probably.
Only you know what's right for you!
