Following the Greatest Ever Hagstrom Guitar Show we travelled to Älvdalen, hitching a ride with John Haskin and Morgan.

I had the pleasure of meeting Karl-Erik Senior again to talk history with him for a short while, and the pleasure of his extended hospitality before we headed back to the UK.

We were afforded the time to see some sights, Chris and Morgan went swimming in the local pool, and I really enjoyed becoming the part time chauffer for the man himself one afternoon!

There is talk of another event next June, which if it comes to fruition could include some very interesting people. Certainly enquiries are already under way... and the place... well one guess, and about time too I say!

As for my time with Karl Erik senior, well, it was once again an honour and a pleasure, much of which I am writing up in the hope of offering "a more permanent reference" for you the reader sometime in the future.

There are special events, and long time questions to be answered, and thankfully I have been afforded the trust to try and do it all justice...

There will always be people who try to get close, I aim to do it for the right reasons. So I hope the results bring at least half the pleasure I have found in the journey myself.

If you would like to add to my record of the story, then please fell free to contact me. The Hagstrom Story is a special one. A family one, and a pioneering one. Certainly one with "ups and downs", certainly one that made a mark in the last century, and aims to again - in this one.

Time will tell how many of these projects make it all the way.

Did you know that Nils worked in England,
and all the recipes are written in English?
They make interesting reading for sure.

How come everything looks so beautiful?

All too soon we were on our way back to the UK,
passing some more spectacular scenery,
first by train then by plane,
arriving back in London late on a Wednesday night...

(Back to reality eh?)

There's nothing like a REAL original Swedish made Hagstrom (and there are loads around), but if it 'floats your boat', or you can't find an original then who are we to say?

Plenty has been said already and
will be said forever forward probably.
Only you know what's right for you!
