The faces of old and new were to be seen in the guitars themselves. Notice the Prototypes?

One from John Haskin, and Ulf's complete one which we saw in July.

Here too were the new Hagstrom proto' models, on display for the scrutiny of one of the most critically accurate audiences you could find!

See a Swedish EMNordic
Catalogue from September 2005
available at the show along
with those new proto models.

Plenty of detail, but sadly
not actually available still.

Dealers and Collectors come together for the most comprehensive display of Hagstrom equipment, information, and demonstrations.

Hey did you see those two Jimmy Ovals?

First and last, and the first time together!

Some collections had amps,
mics and keyboards even!

Then very soon the people started to arrive

Many generations of Hagstrom People
Bengt and his wife still have the associations

Hans Mattsson a former employee on the retail side, and what's that box on the table???

(Later... Later)

...and I really must find out the name of the guy left of picture - he has some amazing accordions pictured elsewhere in this report.

Stefan from Larz Kristerz

Ulf Zandhers (seated)

Len Johansson who teamed up with Hans Mattsson for the Patch 2000 presentation..

(Sorry but you'll have to wait for the video's later)

Halkan is open to offers!

Well Bill what was he bid for this fine pair in the end?

How many Hagströms do you see here?

There is also some amazing story attached to the accordion guy. This is where the language thing occasionally falls down, so many smiles and nods, but we had no idea what we were saying to each other...

Really nice guy too, very much into Hagstrom, and I know he's got an interesting story there...

Loads of pictures of a road crash and the guy in bandages were to go up on the wall later on from this shot. I did intend to get the 'low-down' on it, but there was so much else going on!

Another time.

In terms of the UK/USA contingent only Manfred Graeder is missing - but then he took the picture!
John Haskin, "yours truly", and Bill Marriott - clearly all having a good time!

There's nothing like a REAL original Swedish made Hagstrom (and there are loads around), but if it 'floats your boat', or you can't find an original then who are we to say?

Plenty has been said already and
will be said forever forward probably.
Only you know what's right for you!
